Ruakura Fuel Stop - now open

We’re delivering even more Waitomo ‘appiness to Kiwis in the Tron. Our massive 1.6-hectare site at Ruakura Superhub is pumping.

Located off the Ruakura offramp on the Waikato Express, the unmanned 24-hour Fuel Stop will offer retail customers Unleaded 91, Premium 95,Diesel and GoClear with 16 refueling spots. A separate area with 4 refueling locations for heavy transport, with high-flow Diesel is available for commercial customers too.

Payment methods include EFTPOS, credit card, Amex, our Waitomo Fuel Card and contactless payment with our Waitomo and Waitomo Commercial apps.

Our Wash and Glow touch-free carwash is available too. Designed like our very own 'glow worm cave', our touch-free carwashes use only soap, water and air, and not brushes meaning they're better for your vehicles.

Plus, we’re joined by our neighbours McDonalds and KFC onsite, so we’ve got all the bases covered – keeping your ride and you fueled up.

Construction is still underway at our café, a sushi spot and convenience store – these will open this year along with EV charging stations. In the future, hydrogen refueling may be available too.
